The Apartment-Hotel Las Lanzas is located only 80 meters behind the central Canteras Beach, between "Playa Chica" and the Parque Santa Catalina, center of the Las Palmas Port and beach quarter. Although it is not located in the first row directly at beachfront, its Attico-Apartments and its huge shared top-roof terrace offer a top view over beach and the north coast of Gran Canaria. With room rates from around 40 Euros up, the Las Lanzas Hotel is one of the most economic Hotels at Canteras Beach area and offers not luxury but clean rooms for 1 night up to monthes if needed.
All rooms have in common an american kitchen or kitchenette permitting full self-catering holidays. Studios are Standard rooms and have a combined living sleeping-room and bathroom. Apartments have a separate bedroom, a living-room and are more spacious. Attico Apartments have an aditional sun-terrace with slightly restricted ocean-views. Some of the Apartments and Atticos can be occupied with up to 4 guests.
The Las Lanzas Rooms have basic comfort, are clean, comfortable and convenient for all travelers which want an adequate accomodation with higher standard then the local hostels and Pensions, but not remarkable higher priced. Especially the Attico Apartments are also a TIP for one or two weeks with nice views but lower rates than Apartments directly at beachfront. All other guests can enjoy nice views from the large sun terrace at roof-top of the Las-Lanzas-building.
For the moderate price of only 3 € you can have breakfast in the Cafeteria on the ground floor from 08.00 to 10.00. Likewise, there is a big terrace with ocean view on the 7th floor which is open to all guests. The key to the terrace is available at the reception.
Las Lanzas is one of the few hotels of this zone with an own car park for its guests. In view of the disastrous situation concerning parking spaces in Las Palmas this may be worth its weight in gold especially for those guests who are planning to rent a car. It may very well happen that you have to cruise through the streets of the quarter Santa Catalina for an hour before you finally find a parking space!
