„La Ventana Azul“ is a newly renovated and decorated typical Canarian house. It is situated right in the center of one of the bubbliest areas of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and just a few steps away from the surf spots at Canteras Beach. Our accommodation is located at the ground level of a three-storey house, so you can make your way from the sunny streets directly into a the comfy lounge area. Before you read more you should know this: the price is just 18,00 € per person and day (ask for special offers for groups and stays longer than a week!)

The Bedrooms: There are 3 dorms, holding 2 pinewood bunk beds each. Every bedroom can be locked (you’ll receive your own key) and there are also lockable wardrobes for your clothes (lockers for your clothes and personal stuff). So no need to worry about security or messy rooms. Two of the three dorms are located on the inside of the building, which guarantees a quiet atmosphere and a good night’s sleep! To keep the fresh air flowing there are windows towards the vented lounge area. The third bedroom has a big window towards a quiet side street.
The lounge area: This is the actual highlight of the house. It takes up about one third of the total floor space and has 4 big windows and a big door facing the street. So there’s plenty of light and fresh air. It’s the perfect place to meet and hang out with the other guests, to share stories or to just chill together. A cosy couch area, a hammock, plenty of plants and lamps and a collection of photographs of the best waves and the most beautiful, unique and remote places of Gran Canaria are a guarantee for a relaxed atmosphere. You’ll feel instantly at home and at ease.
Kitchen & Dining room (area): Spacious, clean and comfy. The kitchen and the dining area are located in the center of the house. A ventilation shaft provides for daylight and fresh air. The kitchen is fully equipped (oven, stove, fridge, cutlery, plates, all sorts of other necessary kitchen utensils…). The nice blue wooden dining table invites to have an after-dinner beer or a glass of wine and to reminisce about the best waves of the day. What a perfect start to the chill-out phase of the day, which will be continued in our comfy lounge area and finally topped off with a taste of Las Palmas’ night life, starting right at our doorstep.
Bathroom & Toilets: At the moment the house has two bathrooms with showers, wash basins and a toilet. Another toilet is located next to the lounge area.
